Well we were on a different planet so that makes sense. But...yeah. At least we're all better? [ he is still covered in healing acid burns, bruises and cuts and missing an eye. but better. ]
Thanks. [ :) ] The last couple of days have been...really, really hectic making sure things went according to plan. And now that they have there's a little bit of breathing room.
Yeah. Artemy told me about it-- said they were going to be working on getting rid of those. That they figured it might have something to do with why they all passed out, and everything else going on with them.
That was the assumption I was working off of, too. It seems like they're all in the recovery phase now at least. One less thing to worry about and one less way this ship can control them.
Just a relief they're done with it. I knew he'd end up leaving himself for last, but I didn't think he was enough of an idiot to go on a mission right before.
It worked out. [ eyeing those petals curiously... ] He's healing up great, we're all back, and everything's fine. And now that you guys are back it's probably easier for you to talk to him and check for yourself, too. I get it was probably hard not even really being able to talk to him after it happened.
...oh yeah, I think Dahut actually told me that when they came to visit during the auction. [ sleep paralysis demons. ] That doesn't really change my point though.
May as well. [ it's important to see the people you want to see. ] It's not like he won't be glad to see you in person either. And tomorrow should be a little more calmer than today.

... so did Thebe have to talk Baiken into it?

Yeah. There was a back-up option if that didn't work, but luckily she agreed pretty easily once she was asked.

I figured, but I had to ask, y'know? We were all surprised to see her there.

I'm not sure any of us really had an option. It was something that needed to be done, and the others were still healing, right?

[that was still an unpleasant surprise!
he clears his throat of petals, burgundy and cherry.]
It ended up working out.

Well-- we could still talk. Just not face to face, exactly. It was more like ending up in their dreams.
