Why did today feel so long...

Definitely worth it. I can't think of any of us who wouldn't think today was important. But at the same time...I'm really, really glad it's over.

Well, the thing about what the Company can offer me is that... a pretty good number of my problems get solved just by not existing in the City. Been thinking on that today.

[ listen demonfucking is gregor's business, he has his own issues to deal with. ]

...when you're bound to live a very, very long existence, finding good people to fill your time can be a pretty difficult task. So yes. I think it'd be good for him to have someone who wants to stick around with him and has experienced things no one else in his world has, and I think it'd be good for you to be around someone who accepts all of the things about you without strings attached to it. What's wrong with that?

Yeah, I get that. [ it's, like, half of why he feels a little confident in what he just said. he's talked to both owner and gregor enough that he feels that he can understand certain things about both of them in a way that makes it easier to relate. ]

...man, am I gonna have to hear that you haven't clarified stuff with another guy? [ listen last time gregor said he was just waiting for the other person to bring it up. this time he's just giving him shit, but also vaguely curious. ]

No, it's... the flowers are the only reason Owner even found out. After we talked a while, he ended up offering for us to have this final week, but that's... still got a time limit on it. Says he can't be in a relationship.

More cherry blossoms? [ funny. ] ...a week is still a week. A trial run. And I think if he didn't immediately reject the idea of you thinking about returning with him that sort of says something. It'd be...kind of awkward to follow someone home if they didn't have mutual feelings for you.
