The protocol is that I developed a lethal drug that painlessly sends someone to sleep and then stops their heart. Dahut and myself normally administer when necessary, with Luke and Nosebleed as back-ups since they have enough medical knowledge the procedure won't be botched.

But it likely wasn't going to work this time.

Well, I could've used more of a heads-up before Diluc passed Dahut off to me and just walked off and keeled over, sure, but I don't think they exactly need to apologize for anything besides that.

I believe your experience is different.

In general I don't know entirely if I consider it worth apologizing for... though I do see it as worthwhile that people understand the weight of their lives.
