Sounds like they've only been at this for a few months, in general. And if the overrides they have already aren't working on something like a lockdown... think we're gonna have new problems if issues like this hit the more essential systems.

It wouldn't be immediate. Civilians and the uninvolved would be granted permission to evacuate. Neither Dahut nor I would care to trade away innocent lives for some misguided sense of justice and self-satisfaction.
Probably depends on this process of yours. He mentioned something about your original bodies dying-- if you didn't miss a window of some kind when he died this time, then I'd figure you might have some way to fix it. Unless you have some kinda backup where you're from already, anyway.
