Really? Where I'm from, you'd have a hard time finding people who don't follow the Order of Lorelei, at least a little bit. And not just in Daath, but all over the world! It's about as "major" as it gets.
The Score's a record of all events in the planet's history: past, present, and future. The Order of Lorelei are the keepers of the Score, so everyone would have to come to us if they wanted to know the future.
Everyone believed the Score was absolute... that it was impossible to go against it, and wrong to even try.
But Ion believed the Score was only one possible future of many, and that it was never meant to be a shackle to bind us... and that's what I want to believe, too.

... He was a really gentle person. Sometimes he seemed kind of spaced-out? But he had so many expectations placed on him as the Fon Master that I think he was kind of afraid to express himself...
But when we did get to talk, just the two of us, I could hear how much he really cared about everyone, and everything, and how frustrated he was with the Order, the way things were...
He really wanted a world where people could live more freely.
